The Law Office

Professional background
In 2001, I took and passed the state exams at ELTE, Faculty of Law. After my state exams I worked as a sole internal legal advisor at a free-zone company founded by Taiwanese, Singaporean and American investors. At this company apart from the legal English I learnt to work independently and with responsibility. In the factory of this free-zone company more than 400 employees were working in three shifts; they assembled branded speakers. Here I gained knowledge and learnt in daily practice to answer every-day employment law questions and the world of collective employment law, including the negotiations with trade unions. In addition, I started to learn the importance and value of brands, the rules of trademark licenses as well as the review and revision of contract specifying the terms and conditions of manufacture and distribution concerning several countries and their legal regulations.
In 2003 I started to work as a trainee at S.B.G.& K. Law Office, where I dealt with intellectual property issues, mainly trademark and copyright infringements. With regard to the latter infringements I obtained a significant knowledge in the field of civil court procedures; I represented in lawsuits foreign clients, owners of worldwide well-known brands. At the end of my trainee period I continued my work experience at Bérczes Law Office founded by Dr. László Bérczes, one of the ex-partners of S.B.G.&K. Law Office. I was a member of Bérczes Law Office until the beginning of 2007.
After the three years of mandatory training period I took and passed the Bar Exams in 2005. I swore the attorney.s oath in December 2005. Since then I have been a member of the Budapest Bar of Association.
From the beginning of 2007 I provided legal advice to the clients of a law office with mainly international and multinational clients. Here my professional field was again the employment law and its related fields. As this law office was the sole member of an international alliance of law offices specialized in employment law, I had the opportunity to actively work together with foreign colleagues in international projects concerning several countries and learnt to answer and manage the questions arisen on behalf of international clients in a practically and feasible way, comprehensible for foreign clients.
As the exclusive responsible attorney of the Employment Law Department of the Hungarian member of the international alliance I managed independently every employment law issue, and I participated in and performed the Project Manager course. I provided legal advice in short forms on phone and via Internet (e-mails); however, I also drafted memorandums, legal opinions and due diligence reports, and learnt the judicial practice by representing clients before labour courts.
For some clients I provided legal advice not only in the field of employment law but based on their requests I also represented them in nearly every case (amendment of deed of foundation, drafting and revising commercial agreements, etc.) and coordinated the replies of foreign colleagues answering the topical legal issues of the clients, arisen in the neighbouring countries.
Formally I established the Law Office in March 2008. This time I had fewer own clients, and therefore, I continued to provide legal advice to the clients of the above mentioned law office with international and multinational clients. At the beginning of 2010 I decided to develop and to set up the organisational structure of the Law Office by forming a stable team of attorneys and other experts with significant professional background and strong knowledge.
Since 2001, I use my English knowledge nearly daily in words and writing in the course of my work. I improved my English knowledge to the advanced level during my stay in London for one year in 1995, and I took and passed the Cambridge Advanced Language Exam in 1996. Since autumn of 2008 I have continued my Spanish language studies started previously. According to my plans I will take the intermediate language exams in Spanish at the beginning of 2011 and afterwards I plan to improve my legal Spanish.
In our team there will be attorneys and other experts speaking in other languages, too, with whom we will be able to provide legal advice in the mother tongues of company managers of companies located in several European countries. Currently I have negotiations in progress with colleagues speaking excellent English, German, and native speaking Russian and Kazakh. Their CVs will be soon available in our website. In Spanish and in French we take on written communication by using the service of special translators and interpreters. I have already developed a permanent collaboration with a company specialized in accounting and tax advice. Their contact details will be soon available in our website. We have contacts with many law offices and colleagues in European countries, with whom we can provide legal advice in several countries of Europe.
